Book Walking in the Canary Islands: An Island, a Volcano and an Auditorium
The subtropical island of Tenerife has an appealing climate all year round. It is dominated by the great volcano Mt. Teide at 3,718 m, the highest point of the Canaries and the whole of Spain. The unspoilt interior of the island has good paths and mule trails in dramatic mountain scenery, ideal for a winter sunshine walking getaway. Our 10-day itinerary comprises five half-day walks in the Teno Mountains, Mt. Teide National Park and the Anaga Rural Park.
